Making Tax Digital (MTD)
HMRC have introduced something called MTD (making tax digital) and did you know that, from April 2019, VAT registered businesses with a turnover above the VAT threshold (currently £85000) will have to keep digital records and submit VAT returns digitally too? This means submitting VAT figures in a format that HMRC will accept and, making sure that your business is signed up for the new format in plenty of time.
